“Victor has spent his 20-year career focused on the E&P sector, advising major US companies, public and private independents, and national oil companies on a range of domestic and cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions. Victor’s depth of experience is further enhanced by his tenure as an owner of US upstream oil & gas companies, providing a unique perspective and blend of expertise that will doubtless be tremendously beneficial to our E&P client base. I’m delighted that he has joined the team,” said J.P. Hanson, Head of the Oil & Gas E&P Group.
“The opportunity to join an investment bank with the breadth of capabilities of Houlihan Lokey is exciting. Houlihan Lokey has a long history of advising oil and gas clients across all its businesses and is a market leader in corporate finance, M&A, A&D and financial restructuring,” said Barcot. “I could not be more thrilled to join an E&P banking team with the ability to provide independent, unbiased transaction advice to E&P companies, their Boards and capital providers from the reservoir to the balance sheet with the unmatched foresight, expertise and relationships that Houlihan Lokey possesses,” he continued.
