Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Lucas Vazquez for Mohamed Salah transfer reports

Mohamed Salah has had a fantastic start to the season for Liverpool, and suddenly everybody wants a piece.

The Egyptian was this week crowned African Player of the Year, and now Real Madrid are sniffing round.

Spanish outlet Don Balon report Real are planning to offer Liverpool a substantial sum for the winger, plus Lucas Vazquez as part of a swap deal.

Vazquez is a 26-year-old winger who came through Real's academy, but he only broke into their team three seasons ago.

He is a two-time Champions League winner, but compared to Salah... he is not at the Egyptian's level.

There is a reason why Real are reportedly content to let Vazquez leave, and sign the Premier League's top scorer, and it's because they would win the trade hands down, regardless of how much extra cash was offered.

Vazquez has scored three goals this season for Real, compared to Salah's 19 strikes for Liverpool in all competitions.

Reds fans did not think much of the rumours, taking to Twitter to dismiss them as laughable, with one fan urging them to come back and offer Cristiano Ronaldo instead...
