Kevin Wimmer played for Stoke City against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this afternoon.

Stoke City defender Kevin Wimmer has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to the Tottenham Hotspur fans.
Wimmer featured for Stoke in the Premier League game against Tottenham away from home at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Potters were hammered 5-1.

The Austria international joined Stoke from Spurs in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £18 million.
The centre-back was on the books of Tottenham for two seasons, but he failed to make an impact at the North London club.
Wimmer has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Spurs fans after the match against Stoke.

The result on Saturday afternoon means the Stoke are very much in the battle against relegation to the Championship, while Tottenham remain in the race to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
