Joey Barton believes Liverpool supporters should not get carried away.
Former Premier League star Joey Barton has warned Liverpool supporters not to be over confident ahead of this weekend's Merseyside derby.
Liverpool are coming off a 7-0 Champions League victory over Spartak Moscow, and put five goals past Brighton days earlier.
Responding to a Liverpool fan on Twitter who was joking about how easy the game could be, Barton said he agreed with Roy Keane, who asserted that the Reds have not beaten any team of real quality.
If Mane was to balance two pints on the back of his hands and play for 90 against Everton on Sunday, will he score two, three or four goals? pic.twitter.com/RaQbJTHFTK

Anyone think this is possible?

I doubt it personally. Typical Kopite getting carried away pre-Derby day.
Did you not listen to Roy Keane? You’ve beaten nobody yet.
Now take those red tinted spectacles off please Mark. https://t.co/n20DvcNCgK
Liverpool are still heavy favourites for the fixture at Anfield, although Everton's trump card is manager Sam Allardyce, who has given the Blues fresh impetus.
It would still be a big surprise if Everton win, but the Toffees have match winners in their side like Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson and Liverpool's unpredictable defence could be the difference between winning and losing.
Everton won their first league game under Allardyce, but Sadio Mane and co are likely to provide a far sterner test than Huddersfield did, and the Toffees will have to dig deep to shut out the irrepressible Reds attack.
