Everton fans are refusing to give Morgan Schneiderlin the fresh start that he wants, after his comments last night.

Schneiderlin suggested that he wanted to work his way back into Everton’s first-team now Sam Allardyce has taken over.

However, Toffees supporters want the French midfielder gone, as his attitude has come in for criticism over recent weeks.

Schneiderlin’s performances have been one of the worst in Everton’s squad over the early part of the campaign.

The French international midfielder was well short of his best, as Everton struggled.

The Guardian also suggested that Schneiderlin was sent home from training by David Unsworth, during his time in temporary charge, although the story has been denied.

Schneiderlin was left on the substitutes’ bench during Sam Allardyce’s first game in charge against Huddersfield Town, and he only came on in the latter part of the contest.

Schneiderlin will start for Everton later this evening, when they take on Apollon Limassol in the Europa League.
