According to the Daily Mail, a host of Premier League and European clubs are set to watch APOEL playmaker Roland Sallai in action against Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

Sallai, 20, broke through in his native Hungary with Puskas following a 2014 move from Videoton, and four goals in 55 games handed him a loan move to Palermo in 2016.

The playmaker wasn't able to thrive with Palermo as they suffered relegation from Serie A, but a summer move to Cypriot giants APOEL has handed Sallai a platform to impress.

With five goals and two assists in 15 games this season, Sallai has starred for APOEL, and the Daily Mail report that a host of clubs will watch him tonight amid comparisons to Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

European and Premier League clubs are expected to be at Wembley Stadium when APOEL take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League, and whilst no clubs are named, Sallai is certainly attracting interest.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will be going up against Sallai tonight, and given that Spurs are always willing to take a chance on a young player under Pochettino, this may be a perfect opportunity to analyse Sallai.

Primarily a winger or playmaker, Sallai is technically gifted player with huge potential, and with questions over the future of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Pochettino should be looking to evaluate Premier League target Sallai ahead of a possible 2018 move.

Having already turned out for Puskas and APOEL this season, Sallai can't join another club this term, but he can attempt to impress Spurs tonight – alongside a clutch of other clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
