The midfielder was hugely impressive as Celtic lost to Anderlecht.
Celtic's Champions League campaign may have ended in further disappointment as they were beaten 1-0 at home to Anderlecht last night but there was a positive to take in the performance of Olivier Ntcham, who impressed following his introduction as a substitute.
Ntcham entered the fray at the start of the second half and proceeded to produce an eye-catching display as he retained possession effectively and helped to significantly improve the attacking threat that Celtic posed.
The 21-year-old midfielder is a fine prospect and, having impressed in patches since joining from Manchester City in the summer, he will now hope to be afforded the opportunity to establish himself as one of the most important players for Brendan Rodgers' side.
A France U21 international, Ntcham is strong physically, while he also possesses impressive technique and seems well suited to performing on the European stage.
With Celtic now in the Europa League after finishing in third place in their Champions League group, there should be further opportunities for Ntcham to test himself against European sides, and on last night's evidence he is certainly capable of thriving.
