Newcastle outcast Matz Sels is a big Celtic supporter.
Matz Sels watched on from the bench this week as Anderlecht beat Celtic in the Champions League.
The goalkeeper had a front row seat at Celtic Park, where he has previously been a paying customer.
Sels is on loan from Newcastle United, where he was pushed aside by Rafa Benitez after failing to hold down the number one spot in his debut season at the club.
Former teammate Tom Pietermaat said: "I went to see him at a Newcastle game and then we drove a couple of hours to Glasgow to watch Celtic play Ross County.
"It was great and we did the tour a few months later for the Old Firm against Rangers."
Celtic have been looking for a back up and potential successor to veteran Craig Gordon, and Sels could be an ideal solution.
Sels has European experience, and has been hardened by his brief spell in English football, where he played in the Championship with Newcastle.
The 25-year-old was voted as Belgium's best goalkeeper in 2015, and will be available from Newcastle United next summer.
If he was allowed to pick his choice of next club, Celtic would likely be top of the list.
