Former Rangers hitman Steven Thompson has told BBC Sport Scotland's Facebook page that he believes Celtic will indeed go on to win 10 Premiership titles in a row.
Celtic boast a seven-point lead at the summit of the Scottish Premiership and another league title come May will be the Hoops' seventh on the spin.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has certainly laid the foundations that makes such a daring feat seem very possible, by virtue of the ever-widening gulf between his side and their rivals.
Rangers looked like achieving 10 successive league titles in 1998 but the Bhoys pipped them by two points that year in a historical moment which still frustrates fans of the Ibrox club.
Thompson spent three years with the Gers until 2006, but even he believes that those on the green half of the Old Firm divide will succeed where their bitter Glasgow rivals failed.
He told BBC Sport Scotland's Facebook page: "I think they will do 10 in row, yep I do. I think if it gets close between the two sides [Celtic and Rangers] then Celtic have the armoury and bank account to go and spend to get themselves over the line."
