Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur failed to win against Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Rodney Marsh has criticised Watford on social networking site Twitter for their treatment of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward was not impressed with the way the Watford players made challenges on Kane during the Premier League game between the two sides.
The England international striker featured for Spurs in their Premier League game against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.
Tottenham’s disappointing run of form continued, as they could only draw 1-1 with Marco Silva’s side.
Marsh was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the way the Watford players handled Kane.
“Watford have found a way to stop Harry Kane,” Marsh wrote on Twitter. “Kick the s**t out of him!” (we cannot show you the tweet here due to the expletive used).

The draw with Tottenham has further dented their chances of challenging for the Premier League title.
Perhaps it is time for Spurs to concede their title quest and focus on finishing in the top four of the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have progressed to the last 16 of the Champions League this season.
