According to a report on ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur are keen to snap up Manuel Lanzini from West Ham United in the January transfer window.

David Moyes has made a nightmare start at West Ham United, but things could be about to get even harder for him at the London Stadium.

According to a report on ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur are circling over Manuel Lanzini, ahead of the January transfer window.

And if West Ham are to lose Lanzini, it will surely be a serious blow to the Hammers.

Although Lanzini may not have been at his best this season, he is the most talented player in West Ham’s squad.

Without Lanzini, West Ham would have a serious lack of creativity within their squad, and that could spell disaster for Moyes.

Moyes has failed to win any of his first three matches in charge, and with games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal on the horizon, that winless run only looks set to be increased.

With West Ham already sat in the relegation zone, serious concerns that they could face the drop are forming.

And the sale of Lanzini in January would only make West Ham even more likely to be playing Championship football next season.
