“I think the assurance I need is probably from Jonny more than anybody,” Pardew told The Birmingham Mail.

“I’m looking forward to seeing him. I think he’s a fabulous player and very important for the club so I will have a good old discussion with him.”

West Brom are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

For the Baggies to retain their top-flight status, they need to make sure that Evans remains at the club until the end of the season.
