Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich could return to Holland in January, according to reports.

Polish outlet Przegladsportowy report Klich is unhappy at Leeds, who he moved to from FC Twente back in June.

He was Leeds' second summer signing after Hadi Sacko, but has struggled for first team action.

Klich has played only 110 minutes of Championship football, with one start, which came back in September.

The report states that if the situation continues, Klich will 'probably' return to the Eredivisie.

Dutch outlet Voetball Primeur report Klich would be sent out on loan by Leeds, rather than be sold permanently.

Klich still harbours hopes of making Poland's World Cup squad, but if he is stuck on the bench at Leeds then this is unlikely.

Leeds have a multitude of options in midfield and at the weekend youngster Conor Shaughnessy was called upon.

A loan deal would not rule out Klich still becoming a Leeds success in the future, but in the short term it may be just what he needs, especially if he is not in Thomas Christiansen's plans.
