Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has told the Bournemouth Echo that he is ignoring rumours linking him with West Ham United.

The Sun have reported how Arter is interesting West Ham, who are keen to snap up the Republic of Ireland international in January.

David Moyes is said to be a big fan of Arter, who has impressed at Bournemouth.

But the 27-year-old midfielder is determined to ignore speculation over his future, as he just wants to focus on the job in hand at Dean Court.

He said: “It was a bit of a surprise.

“I haven’t heard anything and am just going about my normal business.

“You have to ignore these things because it is the only thing you can do. I am contracted to this club and my full focus is on AFC Bournemouth.”

West Ham are expected to invest in the January transfer window, as Moyes looks to strengthen his squad.
