Liverpool attacker needs a move away from the club in January.
Forgotten... but not out of sight, Lazar Markovic continues to battle away in training for Liverpool as he seeks to revive his career.
It is more than three years since the Reds paid Benfica £20 million for his signature, and it is a move which has not worked out.
Markovic (pictured below with Ben Woodburn) has not played a single game for Liverpool this season
During his stint at Anfield, Markovic has been sent out on loan to Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, and Hull City.
He has flattered to deceive at all three, and his future certainly looks to lie away from Anfield.
Markovic's main aim at present is to stay fit for January, and try and secure a move, permanent if possible.
It would help him if manager Jurgen Klopp gave him one appearance between now and January, but Liverpool simply have better options, and it would be better at this point for the club to give one of their academy prospects - like Woodburn - a chance.
