Leeds United won at the weekend, while Middlesbrough lost, meaning that the supporters of the Elland Road outfit were busy mocking Boro and their manager Garry Monk.

The West Yorkshire outfit returned to winning ways in the Championship with a 2-0 victory over Barnsley away from home at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon.

First-half goals from Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski proved to be the difference between Barnsley and Leeds.

The results mean that Middlesbrough are now seventh in the Championship table with 29 points from 19 matches, level on points with Leeds United, who are a place behind on goal difference.

Leeds fans have mocked Middlesbrough and manager Monk, who was in charge of the Whites last season and guided them to a seventh-placed finish in the Championship.
