Justin Kluivert might be the son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert, but the way in which he took his first goal for Ajax on Sunday is bound to have Arsenal fans tingling with nostalgia over remembering another icon.
The 18-year-old showed his strength and electric pace to carve a sight at goal for himself, before opening his body up and caressing the ball past the Roda stopper.
Squint and it looked like Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The Ajax man went on to score two more and complete what was an outstanding hat-trick and Kluivert certainly seems like a big talent on the rise.
On this evidence, he won't be in the Eredivisie for much longer and Arsenal fans have revealed on Twitter that they would love him.
Justin Kluivert is destined for the very top. Unbelievable talent— Rhys (@RhysK_AFC) November 26, 2017
We should bin Walcott and get Justin Kluivert.— SamW (@SamW_AFC) November 26, 2017
Have seen him in the stadium today, he was very good but tbh it's one of his first stormers. Needs to prove himself first with 15 goals a whole season imo.— MFP (@MFPowerhouse) November 26, 2017
Hope Justin Kluivert is on Arsene's radar (he's only 18). @Arsenal— David Kamore (@Kamoreh_) November 27, 2017
@theowalcott did "stuff" at 17, remember how good he became?— allan paul nsibo (@nsiboallan) November 27, 2017
@Arsenal should go in for Justin Kluivert. That would be our very own Leeroy Sane/Gabriel Jesus.— Philani Mukwakwami (@PhiLani_mukwa) November 27, 2017
Wenger should sign him.— Micheal Turyakira (@turyakiramyk) November 26, 2017
Not that it has any chance of happening in January but Arsenal might well find themselves in need of a left-sided player early in the new year.
Alexis Sanchez is out of contract with the Gunners in the summer and manager Arsene Wenger is bracing himself for renewed interest in the Chilean, who was denied a deadline-day deal to Manchester City.
