Tottenham Hotspur fans are desperate for Wilfried Zaha and Ross Barkley to join in January, after a highly disappointing draw with West Bromwich Albion at Wembley yesterday.

Tottenham could only draw 1-1 with the Baggies, as they dropped points at their temporary home yet again.

Spurs simply could not break down West Brom’s backline, as they picked up an extremely disappointing result.

And Tottenham fans are now hoping that Everton’s Barkley and Crystal Palace winger Zaha will join them in the near future, to help them break down teams which sit deep.

Tottenham have struggled to open up deep-lying defences this term, with their current squad seemingly lacking ideas on occasion.

West Brom simply sat back and soaked up wave after wave of Tottenham attacks, and not enough of Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s players were willing to take their markers on.

Tottenham’s failure to beat West Brom has left them 10 points behind league leaders Manchester City at this early stage of the season, and Pochettino has conceded defeat already in the Premier League title race.

Spurs could look to invest in the January transfer window, as they are still competing in Europe as well as for domestic honours.
