Arsenal defeated Burnley but they had to fight until the final moments to secure the win.

Arsenal left it late to grab the victory against high-flying Burnley on Sunday, with an Alexis Sanchez spot-kick in the final moments enough to gift all three points to the travelling Gunners.

That win ensured Arsene Wenger's side climbed back into the top four and they will now be hoping to kick on with the matches coming thick and fast.

Granit Xhaka started alongside Aaron Ramsey in the heart of Arsenal's midfield and the Swiss international played his part as he maintained his impressive run of appearances this season.

The 25-year-old has now started all Arsenal's league games in the current campaign and he is clearly one of the first names on the team sheet, even if some Gunners supporters still question if he is the best man for the job.

Something must be working, with Xhaka helping his side to victory more often than not, and he will be hoping he can continue to improve his game as he potentially reaches his peak in the next couple of years
