Liverpool legend Phil Thompson predicted on the Sky Sports Daily show on Sky Sports News on Friday morning (11:18am, November 24, 2017) that the game between Burton Albion and Sunderland this weekend will end in a draw.

Burton will face Sunderland at home in the Championship at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Thompson said on the Sky Sports Daily show on Sky Sports News on Friday morning (11:18am, November 24, 2017): "Both sides need a victory and they are both not going to get one, I am afraid. I have gone for a 0-0. I don’t think it will do either of the sides any good.”

Burton are third from bottom in the Championship table at the moment with 14 points from 18 matches.

Nigel Clough’s side are just a point behind 21st-placed Birmingham City and are in danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.
