Glenn Hoddle picked out a weakness in Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli’s game on BT Sport 3 on Tuesday evening in the build-up to the Champions League match between Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur (7:34pm, November 21, 2017).

Alli is one of the best young players in the world and is a key figure in the Tottenham midfield.

The England international midfielder’s performances so far this season have been mixed, and he has yet to hit the level of the 2016-17 campaign.

The 21-year-old has been linked with moves away from Spurs, with Marca claiming of Real Madrid’s interest in the former Milton Keynes Dons youngster.

Tottenham legend Hoddle has picked a weakness in Alli’s game, suggesting that for the youngster to go to a top club, he needs to keep the ball better.

“For me, for a top top club to come and get him, like it has been muted, he has got to keep the ball better than he does, but his goalscoring record is going to be fantastic,” Hoddle said about Alli on BT Sport 3 on Tuesday evening in the build-up to the Champions League match between Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur (7:34pm, November 21, 2017).
