Fulham fans have been quick to laud 17-year-old academy graduate Ryan Sessegnon with praise on Twitter following an outstanding performance against Sheffield United, where the teenager netted his first career hat-trick.
The England under-19 international took his tally to four goals for the season on Tuesday night, grasping his chance to play further forward at left-wing, rather than at left-back, where the youngster has found himself deployed throughout Slavisa Jokanovic's time in charge.
Sessegnon scored the second, third and fifth goals in a thrilling encounter between promotion chasing Sheffield United and Slavisa Jokanovic's Fulham, capping off his 50th career appearance with a first senior hat-trick.
Such an outstanding performance won't go unnoticed and Fulham fans will be praying that Premier League giants Spurs don't reignite their interest from the summer (The Sun) come January, but for now they can sit back and enjoy the teenager, who will surely one day go on to play for England.
A quick reminder that Ryan Sessegnon is 17 years old, the guy is in Year 12 and he’s bossing it at Bramall Lane— FulhamFirst (@FulhamFirst) 21 November 2017
#FFC and #Twitterblades fans. We saw Ryan Sessegnon and David Brooks on the same pitch last night. One scored a hat trick, one did absolutely nothing. In 3 years time Sess will be the age Brooks is now. Think about the potential this kid has. £60 million to take him off our hands— Jokanovic Out (@charliejones141) 22 November 2017
All you see in the highlights is Sessegnon and Ojo, what a night for those two #ffc— Lucas (@Lukealele) 22 November 2017
Being up for work in an hour is actually being made worth it by Ryan Sessegnon FC ⚫️⚪️⚫️— John Potter (@JohnPotts23) 22 November 2017
See this is what happens when you put Sessegnon further forward. Wasting his talents playing further back. #ffc— freshdadjeans (@freshdadjeans) 22 November 2017
