Liverpool youngster made his first start for Wales.
Wales' striker Ben Woodburn (L) vies with Panama's striker Alfredo Stephens
While Liverpool talent Dominic Solanke was impressing off the bench for England against Brazil, young teammate Ben Woodburn was starring for Wales.
Woodburn scored his first international goal in a qualifier back in September, but last night was his first start at international level.
He was selected as part of an experimental XI by manager Chris Coleman in the friendly match with Panama.
Wales drew the game 1-1, with Sam Vokes missing a penalty. Tom Lawrence had given Wales a lead after that before they conceded a late goal.
Woodburn played 70 minutes of the match and looked the part, although was outshone by Chelsea talent Ethan Ampadu who was making his first start too.
It is a year ago since Woodburn scored on his debut for Liverpool against Leeds, but his first team appearances have been tough to come by.
His Wales performance was encouraging but also a sign he needs regular football to further progress.
Here is a look at how supporters reacted on twitter to his performance...
Woodburn looks such a class act. Lovely passing, playing with confidence, has a great future ahead of him

Wonder if Woodburn and Ampadu fancy a loan to Cardiff for the rest of the season, gotta be better than Feeney and Bamba centre mid

Shame Vokes took the penalty, I would of let Woodburn have it. Not a bad first half and should be in the lead also.
