Everton have made a disastrous start to the new campaign, and currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League table.
But Lennon still sees an exciting future for Everton, and insists that he wants to remain on Merseyside for a long time yet.
“It is exciting,” Lennon said. “We have some great players here. We brought in some good players in the summer. I have loved every minute of it and, hopefully, I can continue to play for Everton.
“I will keep working hard and, hopefully, the gaffer will pick me. I am ready to play.
“I have enjoyed every moment here. I am only 30, so certainly have no intention of hanging up my boots yet!”
Lennon was barely utilised by Ronald Koeman over the early part of the campaign, but David Unsworth has clearly seen value in the English winger.
Lennon has featured in every match Unsworth has taken charge of, and he has made an impact.
The former Leeds and Tottenham man came off the bench to turn the game around in Everton’s most recent match, as the Toffees came back from 2-0 down to pick up a victory.
Lennon could be involved again at the weekend, when Everton take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in their next match.
