Tottenham Hotspur are planning to make moves for two of the most exciting youngsters in European football in the near future, if reports are to be believed.

The Daily Mirror have suggested that Tottenham will go after Watford’s Richarlison in January, while Calcio Mercato have linked Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal with a switch to North London.

And if Spurs were to complete the double swoop then they arguably would have the most promising attacking line-up in world football.

The likes of PSG, Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid may suggest that they have the best front lines in the world, but Spurs - with Richarlison and Mikel Oyarzabal added - would have a team to rival any of them.

Tottenham already have Harry Kane and Dele Alli at the club, who are turning into genuine superstars, and even Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen are not at their peaks yet. And with Richarlison and Oyarzabal, who are both 20, added to the mix, then Spurs’ potential would look limitless.

Richarlison has made a wonderful start to life in the Premier League, scoring four times and claiming three assists in his first 11 appearances for Watford.

Oyarzabal, in comparison, has an even more impressive record. The winger has smashed in six goals in eight La Liga games, with his talents catching the eye.

The pair could become superstars under Mauricio Pochettino’s guidance, and if they were brought to Spurs it would take the Lilywhites to the next level.
