Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (08:37am, November 13, 2017) that Crystal Palace will not sell Wilfried Zaha in the January transfer window.

According to The Sun, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Zaha.

The British tabloid has claimed that the Gunners are preparing a £35 million bid for the Ivory Coast international winger.

Parlour, though, does not think that Palace will sell the 25-year-old former Manchester United winger in the January transfer window, even for £40m.

Parlour said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (08:37am, November 13, 2017): “Certainly I can’t see Crystal Palace letting someone like Zaha go, especially in the position they are in.”

“Even if they put £40m on the table, I don’t think Crystal Palace will sell him, maybe at the end of the season if they secure their Premier League status,” added Parlour.

Zaha is arguably Palace’s best and most talented player, and although £35m is a lot of money, the Eagles are unlikely to let him leave in the January transfer window.

The London club are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment, and if they lose Zaha in the middle of the season, then they are going to go down to the Championship for sure.
