Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (07:46am, November 13, 2017) that Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale would be a good signing for Manchester United.

According to The Mirror, United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Bale from Madrid.

It has been reported that Spanish and European giants are willing to sell the Wales international winger and have placed an asking price of £85 million.

Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour believes that the ex-Spurs and Southampton star would be a good signing for United.

Parlour said about Bale on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (07:46am, November 13, 2017): “You look at people like Manchester United. He would fit perfectly for them if he became available.”

Bale is a very good winger, but the Wales international has had injury problems in recent years.

When he is fit and in full form, the 28-year-old is one of the best players in the world, but for a price of £85m, it would not be worth of Tottenham to bring back the Welshman.

United could use a player of Bale’s pace and quality, but once again, £85m would be too much.
