Defender is hoping to force his way into Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace plans
The Senegal international didn't suffer any setbacks during the game, as reported by the Croydon Advertiser.
Souare has yet to play in the Premier League since suffering a broken thigh and jawbone following a car crash in September 2016, but is now closing in on a return to action and will hope to eventually push for a place in Roy Hodgson's team.
So far this season Souare has played twice for Palace in the EFL Cup, while he was on the bench for the recent Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Crystal Palace are back in action on Saturday when they host Everton and Souare will hope to be included in the squad for that fixture, although the club will understandably be eager not to rush his recovery.
Souare joined Crystal Palace from Lille in 2015 and has made 57 senior appearances for the club.
Hodgson's side remain bottom of the Premier League and wouldn't be able to move up the table even with a win against Everton.
