Celtic striker Moussa Dembele represented France's Under-21 side on Monday night.
Moussa Dembele wowed French with a marvellous hat-trick for France's Under-21 side on Monday night against a 10-man Slovenia side - and Celtic supporters are in awe on Twitter of their number 10.
The 21-year-old striker found the back of the net three times in the space of just 12 minutes, scoring a penalty in the 34th minute, before firing France into the lead in the 41st and doubling his side's advantage in first-half injury time.
Dembele dispatched his penalty with ease, before latching onto a Kelvin Amian Adou cross at the back post to squeeze home a near-post finish. But his third was without doubt the best of the night.
Receiving a pass from Lille's Martin Terrier, Dembele swivelled before producing an outrageous effort that curled into the far corner from all of 25 yards out.
The former Fulham forward has issued another plea to senior France manager Didier Deschamps to choose him ahead of the 2018 World Cup, taking his Under-21 tally to seven goals in eight outings.
Celtic fans reacted on Twitter in astonishment at the quality of their centre-forward, with one fan even claiming it "was good while it lasted" as he expects other sides to become interested.

A long shot, but if Moussa Dembele keeps knocking goals in like he tonight then he might still sneak into France's World Cup squad. The #Celtic striker can look raw at times but there's no doubt he has tremendous potential & is a natural finisher. https://t.co/09xzdc3slp— Brian McNally (@McNallyMirror) November 13, 2017
