Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters about the exciting future ahead of exciting youngster Morgan Gibbs-White, and shared what he told the teenager he has to focus on, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Portuguese has performed sensationally in his role as manager at Molinuex since arriving in the summer, with Wolves currently sitting comfortably at the top of the Championship table, two points clear of second placed Sheffield United.
It is exciting times to be a Wolves fan, not only with their side performing so well, but also with some of the talent that is currently present amongst their squad.
Nuno though, refused to be drawn on rumours regarding the 17-year-old's future, although he did insist that the Wolves man must now re-focus on working hard, after winning the under-17 World Cup with England, as quoted by the Express & Star:
"First of all we have to be happy to have a world champion among us. I don't think anyone else (at Wolves) can say that! I told him personally he has to come back to reality and the reality we are talking of is a young player with a bright future in front of him that requires a lot. It's too soon to say Morgan Gibbs-White is going to 'be'. He has to enjoy what he did with England but tomorrow he has to work hard and progress and be better and become what we all expect from him – a very good football player."
The Black Country outfit will obviously want to hold onto one of their most exciting young prospects, but as has so often proven to be the case in the past, money talks, and the three Premier League clubs mentioned have the financial power to make it impossible for Wolves to refuse an approach from them.
