Wanyama joined Scottish giants Celtic from Belgian club Germinal Beerschot in the summer of 2011 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £900,000.
The Kenya international enjoys two successful years at Celtic Park, winning the league title in 2012 and 2013 and the Scottish Cup in 2013.
The 26-year-old then earned the move to Southampton, with the Premier League club paying Celtic a transfer fee of £12.5 million - as reported by BBC Sport - in order to secure his services in the summer of 2013.
Wanyama was hugely successful at the Saints and moved to Premier League rivals Tottenham in the summer of 2016.
The Kenyan has established himself as an important player at Spurs and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit.
The defensive midfielder seems to be open to the idea of returning to Celtic at some point in the future.
Wanyama told Celticquicknews.co.uk when asked if he will ever return to play for Celtic: “Yes!! Why not? I’ve still got a lot of love for the club and I still follow the club, so who knows I might be back at the club in the future.”
