Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in snaring the West Ham United ace.

There was worrying news for Hammers fans last night, with the Mirror reporting that Spurs are eyeing up a summer move for star man Manuel Lanzini.
The Argentine has been nothing other than a categoric success since joining the club initially on loan in the summer of 2015, before making his switch permanent the following year.
And despite calls from West Ham fans for their club to invest heavily in the playing staff, keeping hold of Lanzini could very well be the most important piece of business that they do over the next six months or so.

The 24-year-old is and has been at the heart of everything good that the east London outfit do, and the manner in which he dictates the tempo of their attacking play has proven to be vital to them over the course of the past two years.
Lanzini is under contract with the Hammers until 2020, so he will not come cheap, if Tottenham do in fact try to prise him away from east London, but the Argentine’s importance at the London Stadium is such that it could be argued that he is priceless.
Money talks of course though, and it will be hard for the club’s hierarchy to refuse a big offer for the talented playmaker, if their bitter rivals come calling for him in the summer.

Much will depend on how high up the table the Hammers finish this season, because if they are nearer the relegation zone than they are the Euroepan spots, it might very well be hard for them to convince Lanzini that they can match his ambition.
