Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld is out against Arsenal, and Jan Vertonghen is now a doubt.

Juan Foyth could be set to be handed his big chance at Tottenham Hotspur after the international break, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s injury problems mounting up.
Tottenham are set to be without Toby Alderweireld for the North London derby, and Jan Vertonghen is now a doubt.
Vertonghen has picked up an injury while in training with Belgium, and he is currently under assessment.
It is not yet known whether Vertonghen will make it off the treatment table in time to play against Arsenal, but if he doesn’t then Foyth may have a chance of featuring.

Foyth only joined Spurs in the summer transfer window, and he has been used sparingly so far.
Pochettino has given the 19-year-old chances in the EFL Cup, when he has impressed, but he is yet to feature in the Premier League.

If Foyth is picked to start against Arsenal he will be thrown in at the deep end by Pochettino, but the youngster has coped well when selected by the Lilywhites so far, and will be eager to take his chance.
