He's Chairman of Norwich City F.C

Alongside celebrity chef Delia Smith, Ed Balls is on the Board of Directors for Norwich City. Balls called his new job an 'honour and a privilege,' and the life long Canaries fan said his earliest ambition had been to play for the club - joining the board is the next best thing.

Harvard

Balls has been appointed a Senior Fellow at the JFK School of Government at Harvard University. As well as this, he holds a role as a visiting professor at Kings College London. The positions are mainly honorary, with a little bit of teaching thrown in - but look great on the CV! Balls graduated from Harvard 25 years prior to his appointment.

London Marathons

Ed has run three London Marathons since 2011, raising £160,000 for charity WhizzKids, who he's a patron of. Ed is also Vice President of Action for Stammering Children.
