Moyes was named the new West Ham United manager this week.

A report in the London Evening Standard has shared the number of players David Moyes is expected to sign for West Ham United in January.
Moyes was hired as Slaven Bilic’s successor on Tuesday and signed a six-month contract at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have slipped into the Premier League’s relegation places after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat against Liverpool, and the Scot’s remit, first and foremost, will be to keep the club up.
Depending on how the next seven weeks play out, Moyes may need a few more hands on deck, and he will have funds with which to make transfers, according to the London Evening Standard.
The newspaper reports the West Ham boss could bring in as many as four new recruits, adding that a minimum of two are expected to arrive.

It is speculated that a new defensive midfielder could be on the Hammers’ agenda, after their failure to sign Sporting CP’s William Carvalho in August, while an injury to Jose Fonte could prompt the club to add to their centre-back options.
