Former Newcastle United and West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce will be paid as much as £100,000 per week at Everton, according to The Sun.

It has been reported that Everton want to appoint Allardyce as their manager until the end of the season.

The Toffees are on the lookout for a new manager following the recent departure of Ronald Koeman, with David Unsworth currently in charge of the first team.

According to The Sun, Allardyce would have former Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare as his number two at Everton.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the former West Ham boss will put pen to paper on a £100,000-per-week contract at the Toffees in the coming days.

Everton’s performances and results so far this season suggest that they are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Allardyce knows the Premier League inside out, and given the quality of players that the Toffees have, the former England head coach should be able to get them up the table in the coming weeks and months.
