Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Tom Cleverley’s failure to convert a penalty against them during the Premier League game against Watford at the weekend.
The Toffees got the better of Watford 3-2 at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
The Merseyside outfit did not make a good start to the match and were 2-0 down to the Hornets after 64 minutes.
Everton then launched a stirring comeback and scored thrice to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 3-2 win.
It could have been a different result had Cleverley been able to convert an injury-time penalty for the visiting team.
The 28-year-old midfielder officially joined Watford on a permanent contract from Everton in the summer of 2017 after spending the second half of last season on loan at Vicarage Road.
