Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is planning something of a clear-out, according to reports.
According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (print edition; 5th November 2017; page 59), Steve Bruce is considering selling Henri Lansbury and James Bree during the January transfer window, while Jack Grealish's Aston Villa future is uncertain.
Both Lansbury and Bree were brought to Villa Park during Bruce's first window as Villans boss, but the pair have struggled for game-time this term largely due to injury.
Lansbury has made just four Championship appearances while Bree has started just once, making a further two appearances from the bench.
And The Sun on Sunday (print edition; 5th November 2017; page 59) reports that as Bruce looks to make space on the wage bill in January, the likes of Lansbury and Bree may be amongst the players - along with Scott Hogan - who may be allowed to move on.
Interestingly, The Sun on Sunday adds that Villa may also consider letting Grealish leave as they feel that the playmaker's value may be high enough for the club to receive a sizeable fee for a player who has barely featured this term due to injury.
But with the three players clearly capable of making a brilliant impact at Championship level, Villa fans will be hoping that if the club do decide to sell them, there are some quality targets being lined up as they look to capitalise on their promising form in recent weeks.
