Aston Villa won against Preston North End in the Championship on Wednesday, with John Terry and Tottenham Hotspur-owned Josh Onomah playing well.

Former Brighton and Hove Albion and Celtic player Adam Virgo has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s win against Preston North End.

Villa got the better of Preston 2-0 away from home at Deepdale in the Championship on Wednesday evening.

James Chester put the Villans in the lead after just 12 minutes, and Robert Snodgrass added the second on 33 minutes.

The win against Preston means that Villa are now fifth in the Championship table with 26 points from 15 matches.

Steve Bruce’s side made a slow start to the season, but the Villans are in good form at the moment and could even launch a challenge for the automatic promotion places.

Virgo, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT and BT Sport, has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win against Villa.

The 34-year-old has praised the performances of defender John Terry and midfielder Josh Onomah, who joined Villa on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Villa will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Sheffield Wednesday at Villa Park in the Championship.
