Former Celtic and Brighton and Hove Albion player Adam Virgo has stated on social networking site Twitter that Leeds United cannot grind out results and lack leaders.

Virgo made the observation during Leeds’s 2-1 defeat to Derby County at Elland Road in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

The West Yorkshire outfit took the lead, but they conceded twice to drop all three points at home.

Virgo, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT and BT Sport, has noted that Leeds lack the ability to grind out results and do not have leaders.

Virgo is a well-known pundit, and his aforementioned observation about Leeds is worrying.

The Whites seem to concede late goals, and their performances and results at home so far this season have been disappointing.

Leeds, though, have a good squad, and the fans should be confident of the team finishing at least in the top six of the Championship this season.

However, it is important that Thomas Christiansen’s side put together a run of positive results soon.
