West Ham United fans have raved about Declan Rice’s display against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.

West Ham pulled off a shock victory at Spurs, after coming from behind to pick up the three points.

The Hammers were thoroughly outplayed in the first half of the contest, and fell 2-0 down without putting up much of a fight.

At that point it seemed that Slaven Bilic’s side were set to fall to another defeat, but they turned things around in the second period.

West Ham showed a great deal of fighting spirit to rescue the match, and progress to the next round.

Andre Ayew netted a brace, before Angelo Ogbonna headed home from a corner to secure the victory.

And Rice’s composed performance at the back impressed West Ham fans, who were thankful for the youngster’s passion.

Rice could now keep his place in West Ham’s team for their next Premier League match, which comes against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
