Geoff Shreeves has tweeted that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane stated that his injury was fine, although he wanted to have it checked out before confirming his fitness.
Shreeves interviewed Kane after Tottenham’s match with Liverpool, but the striker was not questioned about his injury on the television broadcast.
Kane hobbled off, clutching his hamstring, in the latter stages of Tottenham’s victory over Liverpool - sparking concerns that he could be ruled out.
However, Kane is seemingly confident that his injury is nothing serious - which can only be good news for Tottenham.
told me he thought was fine, going to have it checked and Potch would know when he came to do his interview.MP confirmed so.— Geoff Shreeves (@GeoffShreeves) October 22, 2017
Prior to coming off, Kane had done a lot of damage for Tottenham, as they picked up a 4-1 victory over Liverpool.
Kane scored a brace, to add to Heung Min Son’s and Dele Alli’s strikes, as Spurs picked up a comfortable three points.
Tottenham are now level on points with second-placed Manchester United, with their next match coming against West Ham United in the League Cup on Wednesday.
