Leeds United fans are less than impressed with Thomas Christiansen's comments after their defeat to Reading.

Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Cardiff City and Leeds United at Cardiff City Stadium on September 26, 2017 in Cardiff, Wales.

Thomas Christiansen has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that Leeds United deserved more than they got against Raeding at the weekend, but the Elland Road crowd have disagreed with the manager’s comments.

Leeds were beaten 1-0 by Reading in their latest match, and Christiansen felt his side were unlucky to come away with nothing to show for their efforts.

However, many Leeds supporters feel that Christiansen was being far too positive, as they felt their side’s performances warranted nothing.

Leeds were short of their best against Reading, but the match didn’t pass without controversy.

Pablo Hernandez appeared to be fouled in the build up to Reading’s goal, which was scored by former Leeds man Modou Barrow.

Even then Leeds had the chance to claim a point during the contest, but Hernandez fluffed his lines from the penalty spot.

Leeds have now lost their last three matches in succession, with the pressure rising on Christiansen to get his side back to their best.
