Leeds United suffered a 1-0 defeat against Reading on Saturday in the Championship.
Leeds United owner and chairman Andrea Radrizzani has posted a strong message on social networking site Twitter after the Whites suffered a 1-0 defeat against Reading in the Championship on Saturday.
After a bright start to the season, Leeds find themselves in the middle of a bad patch, with Thomas Christiansen’s side having lost their last three Championship games.
Radrizzani has said that it is a “difficult time” and has shared his support to the team and the staff members at the club. He has urged the team to learn from mistakes and keep working hard.
It’s in the difficult times that you build trust and build foundations, all the team and staff have my support. Let s learn from mistakes and work harder then before #pride#family#graft— Andrea Radrizzani (@andrearadri) October 14, 2017
Leeds enjoyed a lion-share of possession during the game (56%) and attempted 15 shots, according to BBC Sport. Christiansen felt that his side at least deserved a point, but the players are themselves to blame as they couldn’t take their chances.
Leeds had a golden chance of salvaging a point, but Reading goalkeeper Vito Mannone saved an injury time penalty from Pablo Hernandez.
With this defeat, Leeds have now slipped to sixth in the Championship table, six points behind league leaders Wolves.
Leeds fans responded to Radrizzani’s tweet and shared their views. Here are some of the selected tweets:
Thing is it's going to take time as it's not a quick fix. We got off to a good run which took lots by surprise but need to be patient— Follow Me And LUFC (@FollowMeAndLUFC) October 14, 2017
Sadly lots of our “supporters” don’t have patience. I was embarrassed by some of the abuse given today. Get behind the team or stay at home.— AlisonG (@lufcteacher) October 14, 2017
ANY `FAN` who tweets abuse/non constructive comments to our players, coach/staff.. is an embarrassment..In 2 games we COULD be top of league— Zachary B. (@LeedsZac) October 14, 2017
And a big mistake was not to spend a chunk of Wood’s fee on a decent striker— Neil. Franklin (@_franklin220) October 14, 2017

Whatever happens on the pitch in the short term, we stick behind this man and believe in the future he’s building at #LUFC.
I'm old enough to remember when we had a team and a manager worthy of the badge, the club and its history, these chancers don't come close.— Terry O' Brien (@tobtipp) October 14, 2017

It is easier if you actually try to win and believe - today was shocking ! Not about the money spent its about a lack of determination #MOT— KNIGHT (@manorsomerset) October 14, 2017
