Paul Merson has told SkySports he believes Tottenham Hotspur will get a win over Bournemouth at Wembley this weekend.

The pundit is tipping a 3-0 win, and says it is time they erased all doubts over their ability to get results at their temporary home ground.

So far this season Spurs have lost to Chelsea, and drawn against Burnley and Swansea at Wembley - although they did manage to record an impressive Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund at the ground.

Chris Wood of Burnley scores his sides first goal during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley at Wembley Stadium on August 27, 2017 in London, England.

Former Arsenal star Merson says it is time Tottenham got over the hump.

He said: "Everybody raises their game at Wembley and Spurs need to sort it out. Against Burnley they were 1-0 up and with 20 minutes to go you saw they were getting nervous and in the end Burnley score.

"I go with Tottenham every week at Wembley and they haven't won yet, but it has to come soon, surely? This is a nice game. Bournemouth are struggling this season and they are not going to boot you off the pitch."

Harry Kane #10 of Tottenham Hotspur reacts in the second half against Roma during the International Champions Cup on July 25, 2017 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

The Swansea game was also a 'nice game', but Spurs drew an unpredictable blank against the Welsh side.

Tottenham travel to Spain to play against Real Madrid days later and will have one eye on that tie, but they must get the job done against Bournemouth or face tough questions as an unwanted distraction ahead of their flight to Spain.
