Ronald Koeman has kept his cards close to his chest at his latest press conference, which was broadcast on Everton’s official Periscope channel, when asked whether he disagrees with Farhad Moshiri’s latest comments.
Everton owner Moshiri stated that the only unexpected defeat that the Toffees have had this season was against Burnley in their last match.
The Clarets ran out unexpected 1-0 victors at Goodison Park, thanks to a well worked goal from Jeff Hendrick.
But Koeman stressed how positive Sean Dyche’s side’s results on their travels have been this term.
“First of all Burnley won against Chelsea, drew against Chelsea and drew against Liverpool away. I think that’s more clear than every answer,” he said, when asked whether he disagreed with Moshiri’s comments.
Everton have endured a miserable start to the new campaign, but they have had some tough fixtures.
The Toffees have lost to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in the Premier League so far this season.
Everton’s struggles mean they are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table, with the pressure mounting on Koeman.
Everton are next in action this weekend, when they take on newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion.
