According to BBC Sport, Portuguese playmaker Adrien Silva has started training with Leicester City after FIFA officials rejected his deadline day move to the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes had agreed a £22 million deal to bring the 28-year-old to the club from Liga NOS outfit Sporting Lisbon and had settled personal terms with the player, only for FIFA to reject the deal after the registration was completed 14 seconds late over the deadline (Sky Sports).

The club are looking into an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport surrounding FIFA’s rejection of Silva’s registration, but are yet to make a decision regarding the appeal.
