Pierre-Michel Lasogga has told LUTV that despite being a Leeds player for a short amount of time, he already loves the club, and picked out his personal highlight from his Elland Road spell so far.
Lasogga was signed on loan from Hamburg during the final days of the summer transfer window, as the Whites attempted to fill the void that Chris Wood left behind.
And while Thomas Christiansen's men endured a difficult run leading into the international break, Lasogga's own form has been impressive, with three goals coming in five league games for Leeds, including a brace on his debut in the 5-0 win over Burton Albion.
And Lasogga picked out the emphatic victory as a highlight, and suggested that it has taken little time to realise that he loves the club he is currently playing for.
"Every match I try to give my best, and also my teammates play good for me so I can show my best. The special moment was my first match at Elland Road when I scored two goals, I think that was my favourite moment."
Lasogga has certainly made a bright start to life with Leeds, with only Kalvin Phillips scoring more goals in the Championship for the Whites this term.
And with the German arguably looking to be by far Leeds' most dangerous striker option, the Elland Road faithful will be hoping that Lasogga puts together the kind of run that includes a number of performances that will ultimately contend with his Burton brace as personal highlights.
