Wolverhampton Wanderers managing director Laurie Dalrymple has spoken highly of the club’s fans to Express & Star.

The Wanderers are one of the biggest clubs in England and have a very strong following.

Dalrymple has admitted that he did not expect the Molineux Stadium to have as many fans as they are getting at the moment.

Wolves have always had a strong following, and the performances and results so far this season have only made things better.

There is optimism around the club, and under manager Nuno Espirito Santo, there is a genuine chance that the Wanderers could get promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Wanderers are second in the Championship table at the moment with 23 points from 11 matches, just a point behind leaders Cardiff City.

Nuno’s side will return to action on Saturday evening when they take on Aston Villa at Molineux Stadium in the Championship.
