Perez has been linked with a move back to Spain for a number of years now.
But the forward is enjoying life on Tyneside with Rafael Benitez in charge, and Perez insists that he has no intention of departing St. James’ Park in the near future.
"I adapted myself really quickly to Newcastle, it's a lovely city, the fans are amazing and the league is the best in the world," Perez said.
"I cannot ask for any more as I'm in the right place."
Perez is clearly a favourite of Benitez, who has shown great faith in the striker ever since taking charge at Newcastle.
Perez has featured in every Premier League match which the Magpies have played this season, despite failing to find the back of the net.
The attacking midfielder is valued for his work-rate and creative qualities, and even though he is yet to steal any headlines, Benitez is obviously of the opinion that Newcastle are a stronger team when Perez is involved.
Newcastle have won three of their last five Premier League matches to move up to ninth in the table.
The Magpies are next in action this weekend, when they take on Southampton at St. Mary’s.
